"Blue and White Dream" comes from the Beautiful Mood series.
Blue and white are the original appearance of the sky, the lightest form of clouds, and the clear undertone left after the mood is washed clean.
The lapis lazuli cubes are the entrance to the dream—that blue, from Afghanistan three thousand years ago, cut into regular cubes, like a door to the sky that can be opened, and through which lies profound stillness; the baroque pearls are the boundary of the dream—irregular, imperfect, yet closer to genuine softness for that, like the contours of clouds scattered and gathered by the wind; the sterling silver beads are the path of the dream—the fine line of moonlight upon the water, clear and bright, stitching blue and white together.
