Seven materials, seven languages of the earth: the rugged, ancient carvings on the dragon-carved aged buffalo horn, like the primal imprint of the earth's power; the scattered speckles of the starry dZi bead, like ancient starlight reflected on the ground; the thick, earthy warmth of African glass, like the sun on dry land; the cotton-like veining of calcified agate, like memories sedimented deep within the strata; the unpredictable color shifts of kiln-transmuted ceramic, like a moment frozen after a volcanic eruption; the geometric lines of the six-faceted agate dZi bead, like fractures carved by time into the land; and the crystalline clarity of Czech glass, like light refracted through an underground river.

They come from different regions, different eras, different crafts—yet in this moment, they are strung together by a single pair of hands, gathering the weight and warmth of the earth.
