Water is not only the blue of the deep sea—it can also be a shallow mountain stream on a summer day, the coolness flowing over the top of your feet when you step into it barefoot.
The large freeform amazonite is the stream itself—a light blue-green, clear as freshly melted glacial water, carrying the purity of high altitudes and the rhythm of flow; the Amazon stones are pebbles at the bottom of the water—polished back and forth by the current on the riverbed, their edges softened as if each stone has learned the language of water; the elongated baroque pearls are the occasional gleams of light on the stream—irregular, wild luster, like the shadows on the water's surface shattered by the wind.
Three materials, three layers of the stream—amazonite is the flowing water, Amazon stone is the stone within the water, and baroque pearls are the light upon the water's surface.
They are strung together like a summer stream winding down from the mountains—passing stones, carrying light and shadow, and finally disappearing around a bend.
